Gemeinsam gestalten – Kulturrausch Waltershausen (Designing together – a cultural frenzy in Waltershausen) is a participative project that combines methods from the arts and urban planning. In a first phase, the inhabitants of Waltershausen were invited to submit their wishes pertaining to culture in the Office for Cultural Wishes, explicitly set up for the purpose of this project. This participative aspect was framed by diverse artistic interventions and workshops. In a second phase, interested Waltershausians of all ages were invited to collaboratively work on implementing selected wishes. The project was accompanied by a film team who documented the entire process.
