In the long durational performance ...bei 40 Grad tau ich erst auf! (…but 40 degrees is my thawing temperature!) a body attempts to embrace itself. A body tries to find out which jumper will bring loving warmth and which one will choke off its air supply. Continuously dressing and undressing. Adding one protective layer after the other. Huddling up. Into as many jumpers as possible. Turning into another creature in this process.
In the meanwhile, the audience can follow an audio collage: a soundscape that speaks of hugs, social distancing directives, oxytocin and the recollection of being touched.
